It’s Week 15 of the NFL season, and Patrick Mahomes isn’t even beginning to cool off yet.
Patrick Mahomes keeps finding ways to amaze NFL fans each week. His latest highlight-reel throw adds to his MVP resume as the Chiefs take on the Chargers on Thursday Night Football.
It didn’t take long for Mahomes to put Kansas City on the board with an incredible touchdown pass. After Philip Rivers was intercepted on the game’s opening drive, Mahomes took the Chiefs down the field and connected with Demarcus Robinson for a five-yard score.
While Chiefs fans certainly love the points that came with that play, that wasn’t even the first mind-blowing marvel Mahomes pulled off in the game.
Earlier in the drive, on 3rd and 4, Mahomes evaded three Los Angeles defenders and made it all the way to the right sideline, then fired the ball along the sideline to Damien Williams, who had just enough yardage for a first down.
If Mahomes is named the MVP of the National Football League after this season, it will most certainly be because of plays like these. He’s made a lot of them this season, and it’s only his first year as a starter.
As expected, Mahomes’ brilliance has people everywhere marveling over him.
